Following the guidelines indicated on April 6, 2020, by the Mexican Federal Government for the steel industry; At DEACERO SUMMIT, as a company associated with DEACERO, we will maintain the necessary activity to face the contingency caused by COVID-19, as well as to continue enabling the supply chains of those industries and activities that are also essential for this purpose.
Given the situation, we have implemented, from the beginning of the contingency, a Comprehensive Operational Continuity Plan, and as we have done since the beginning of this contingency, we are operating under the strictest international prevention and health measures to protect the health of our collaborators, clients, and suppliers.

Entry protocol
We implement input filters in work centers where a review is performed to identify people with symptoms related to the COVID-19 viral picture.

Cleaning protocols
We have increased the frequency of cleaning in workplaces and common areas.
We are applying hygiene and cleaning protocols to the entire storage, shipping, and distribution process.
For sanitation routines, we use suitable products to eliminate the COVID-19 virus. Personnel transport vehicles are sanitized before use. We implement a strict hygiene routine for employees during working hours.

Social distancing actions
We have implemented important distance measures protocols in common areas and means of transport.
Personnel transport vehicles have been limited to 50% of their capacity to maintain distance between collaborators.
We use technological tools to have work meetings, and we implement “home office” for all the staff who can carry out their tasks from home. Also, non-essential travel has been suspended.

External transportation personnel are also subject to review protocol at access points and do not descend from their units.

Constant communication
We have continuous communication with our collaborators, and suppliers to keep informed about all prevention measures and what we have to know and do to face the contingency. We set up an internal guidance line for questions on this topic.
We continue to strengthen our measures and comply with the recommendations and indications of the health authorities and the WHO, to protect all of us who in some way are part of the great DEACERO SUMMIT family, and give the peace of mind that we are operating under the strictest regulations and prevention measures against the COVID-19.
